Misys Launches Back-Office Centralized Processing System

Misys has released a back-office centralized platform, Global Back Office that consolidates operational processing across all asset classes and can be used with any trading system.

Misys has released a back-office centralized platform, Global Back Office that consolidates operational processing across all asset classes and can be used with any trading system.

The solution uses STP to reduce costs and risk, and the solution also provides connectivity to CCPs, and cross-asset collateral and margin management. In addition, the platform provides a trade data repository, which complies with new regulation.

“The financial crisis has created an environment whereby technology users are required to be more agile, while equally IT systems must be rationalized to keep control on budget, but remain compliant in line with regulations such as EMIR and Basel III,” says Joerg Heidtmann, head of capital markets product management at Misys. “Misys Global Back Office will enable our customers to have market leading back office operations according to best practices, which also gives insights of upcoming changes and allows them to consolidate and rationalize their costs across systems.”
