Misys Banking Systems says that its financial messaging application, Misys Message Manager, has been accredited with SWIFTReady Gold status for the fifth consecutive year.
The certification covers the Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) market and was awarded following a series of tests carried out by SWIFT. The browser based solution provides banks with the ability to handle all of the recent regulatory changes. Misys has several other products with SWIFT labels, including Midas Plus and Trade Innovation.
“Managing the complex and evolving environments of financial messaging, standards and payments systems is increasingly important to any financial institution’s success,” says Barry Kislingbury, the global product manager of financial messaging at Misys Banking Systems. “Misys Message Manager has been designed with 25 years of experience working in the payments industry and with SWIFT, coupled with Sun Microsystems’ technical expertise. Misys Message Manager provides a technically advanced and flexible environment which allows financial institutions to manage the challenge of new standards and regulations, whilst supporting the needs of the business. Achieving SWIFTReady Gold clearly underlines that Misys Message Manager correctly supports all the SWIFT requirements.”
“This achievement represents Misys’ continued commitment to its customers and to SWIFT,” adds Allan Spalding, the senior business manager of partner solutions at SWIFT. “We are delighted with their ongoing support in helping our mutual customers adapt to the latest requirements of the financial messaging arena.”
