XcitekConsultingServices (XCS) says Michael O’Neill has joined the company as Vice President, responsible for the recruitment and placement of securities operations professionals within financial institutions on a consulting basis.

“Mike brings a tremendous wealth of securities processing knowledge to XCS and we are delighted to have him on board,” says Al Hutwagner, Managing Partner of XcitekConsultingServices. “In addition to his in-depth experience working at DTCC, his extensive relationship network is a tremendous attribute to this new role. With the increase in client projects and initiatives that we are witnessing, Mike will play a key role in helping our clients reach their business and operational goals.”

Prior to joining XCS, O’Neill held relationship management and supervisory positions at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC). During his 15-year tenure at DTCC, O’Neill was involved in various aspects of securities processing including settlement, income collection, underwriting, reorganization/redemption, reconciliation, and institutional delivery. Most recently, O’Neill was a Senior Relationship Manager within DTCC’s Large Account Program, where he was responsible for the resolution of daily operational service issues covering all aspects of securities processing for the organization’s largest and most strategic accounts.

O’Neill holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Connecticut. He was a member of the American Bankers Association Planning Committee and served on the Bank Depository User Group Planning Board.
