Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW), the investment bank of Dresdner Bank AG, announced today that Michael Gordon has joined the Tokyo office as Director, Credit Derivatives Trading.
In this new position, he will report to Mark Mallia, Head of Credit Trading, Japan.
Michael has more than ten years experience in investment banking in London and Tokyo. He joins DrKW after a year as a credit derivatives trader at Enron Credit Limited, Japan, prior to which he worked for three years as a credit trader at Rabobank, Japan. He has also worked as a credit research analyst at WestLB and Citibank in London.
“Michael will be a great addition to the team and to our credit business in the region as we concentrate our resources on providing advanced credit derivative products to our expanding base of Asian clients,” commented Mark Mallia today.
Michael is the latest addition to DrKW`s Global Debt business in Japan. Other recent hires include Robert Motoshige, Head of Hedge Fund Sales, Asia; Hideyuki Okada, Yen domestic Sales; and Leon Emes and Giorgio Pilla in the Credit Trading & Sales teams.
