John Gaudioso has joined JPMorgan Investor Services to head up sales and relationship management for non-custodial lending in the Western Hemisphere. Gaudioso will report to Picone.

Hiring somebody who previously worked at a leading third party lender – Gaudioso was most recently at Metropolitan West Securities – makes sense, as Morgan is now extending its securities lending program beyond clients whose assets are in custody with the firm.

“By making the product available to a larger client base, the securities lending program will be able to offer flexible alternatives to its existing model while still focusing on its core strength of delivering performance and efficiency,” explains a bank spokeswoman. “The hire underscores JPMorgan’s commitment to providing investor solutions across the firm’s client base.”

Before joining Metropolitan West as Vice President of Institutional Client Services, Gaudioso directed securities lending sales at Cantor Fitzgerald. “Having been on the other side of the fence I was constantly competing with JPMorgan so I am very happy to be joining the leader and contributing to strengthening its capability and maintaining its leadership role,” says Gaudioso.
