Metavante Corporation today announced that Zurcher Kantonalbank (ZKB), Switzerland’s third largest bank, is implementing its document composition software — CSF(R) Designer. ZKB is Zurich’s largest banking operation with 86 branch offices, approximately two million customers and total customer assets of CHF 76.7 billion.
This agreement is the latest in a series of CSF Designer contract wins for Metavante that includes European agreements with Banca di Roma and Banca Intesa, both based in Italy, and Bankinter and Linea Directa, both based in Spain.
Banca di Roma is Italy’s fourth largest banking group with approximately 2,100 branches and five million customers. Banca Intesa is one of the largest European banks in the retail segment with nearly 13 million clients. Bankinter, headquartered in Madrid, Spain, is one of the top six Spanish banks worldwide and Linea Directa is the market leader indirect motor insurance with over three million customers.
The partnership between Metavante and ZKB was coordinated through The Astron Group, a distributor of integrated services for several Metavante European clients. Astron is a global business support services provider headquartered in the UK with offices throughout Europe.
CSF Designer allows companies to expand their document composition capabilities with the technology to create dynamic, personalized, print and Internet-enabled communications for their customers — such as bills, statements, letters, notices, direct mail, booklets, and brochures. In addition, this functionality works across all LAN/WAN systems in a collaborative environment, allowing multiple users to create, review, and approve documents from any location.
