Hedge fund administrator Meridian Global Fund Services Group has appointed Annabel H. Marisca as senior vice president for business development.
Marisca will be based in New York and will report to Randy Troy, president of the New York office. She will be responsible for global sales and new business initiatives. She joins Meridian from Spectrum Global Fund Administration, where she was head of business development.
We hired Annabel because of the robust revival in the hedge fund industry, says Tom Davis, CEO of Meridian Global Fund Services Group. Annabels appointment was made with a view towards meeting the growing demands of the marketplace in light of that revival. Our firm has undertaken various initiatives to further strengthen its presence in the industry, and broadening the senior management team was a logical step.
Before Spectrum, she was a vice president in the prime brokerage unit of Goldman Sachs & Co., and previously worked at New York-based hedge fund New Frontier Capital.
