Divyesh Hindocha has been appointed new Head of the Ireland & Continental Europe Practice of Mercer Investment Consulting. He takes over from Tim Gardener who will now concentrate on his role as Global Practice Head. Hindocha is a Worldwide Partner at Mercer and, for several years, held the position of Senior Consultant responsible for advising institutional investors in Europe and the Middle East on all investment-related issues. He will continue to be based in London.
Senior Consultants Frans Ballendux, based in Amsterdam, and Tom Murphy, based in Dublin, have also been appointed to join a new senior management team for the Practice. Ballendux will lead the Mercer’s continental European manager ratings group, while Murphy will be responsible for business strategy. Both are Mercer investment consulting heads for their respective countries.
Hindocha is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in the UK. He has been with Mercer since 1990, and joined Investment Consulting in 1993.Murphy is also a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and is a European Partner at Mercer. He joined Mercer in 1997. Ballendux is a European Partner at Mercer. He joined Mercer in 1979.
