Mellon Global Securities Services has appointed Kevin O’Neill as business development manager and Stuart Kent as client relations manager at its Dublin office . This month saw Mellon move into new office space in the Irish capital. The Harcourt Building giv es the operation the capability to double in size.

O’Neill will be responsible for Mellon’s offshore administration, as well as trust and custody services , while Kent will be responsible for understanding and meeting the needs of clients of Mellon’s offshore services.

Prior to joining Mellon, O’Neill worked in a variety of business development and client servicing roles at Bank of Ireland Asset Management, both in Ireland and the USA, within its Private Banking and Institutional Asset Management divisions.

He holds a BA (Hons) degree in Financial Services.

Kent has more than 15 years’ experience of the funds industry. He joins Mellon from JPMorgan in Luxembourg, where he spent five years as a service delivery manager, responsible for the delivery of fund accounting, transfer agency and custody services to a significant third party client.

Mellon Global Securities Services currently employs approximately 50 people in Dublin.
