Mellon Financial Corporation announced that its Mellon Global Securities Services (GSS) group has been named custodian on four additional university endowments with a combined more than $2 billion in total assets. Mellon will provide custody and associated services such as securities lending and performance measurement and analytics to Carleton College, College of the Holy Cross, The George Washington University, and Trinity College.
In addition to these four, Mellon services 11 of the nation’s 20 largest university endowments. And nearly two-thirds of the Top 50 are Mellon clients, representing more than $130 billion in assets under custody.
