Mellon Global Securities will add two new faces to its senior securities lending management team, the firm announced Monday.
Robert Fort, Jr. will serve as the new director of collateral investment, and David will act as the new director of US lending.
Before his new appointment, Fort was chief investment officer for Reserve Management Corporation, where he oversaw the firm’s $30 billion mutual fund business.
He also worked for eight years as a member of State Street Global Advisors’ Securities Lending Reinvestment and Tax Sensitive Fixed Income groups.
Whitney has worked with Mellon since 1993, where he started as business analyst.
Before Mellon he held a position with State Street as an accountant and cash management.
