Spain’s futures and options exchange (MEFF) trading through MEFF came in at 2.36 million contracts in February, up 7% on February 2005. There was a heavy trading volume in stock futures, at 347.206 contracts (+28%) as well as in Mini Ibex futures, at 106,222 contracts (+23%) and Ibex 35 options, at 595, 833 contracts (+18%).
Trading in Ibex Futures contracts came in at 455,072 contracts, 12% up on February last year.
