Colin McKechnie is to take over from Sandie O’Connor as head of J.P. Morgan’s Financing and Markets Products business. O’Connor has recently been promoted to head of prime brokerage at the firm.

In a memo from Conrad Kozak, CEO of J.P. Morgan Worldwide Securities Services, McKechnie will take full responsibility for the securities lending, collateral management, transition management, US broker-dealer services, foreign exchange and depository receipt products.

“Since 2008, when Colin joined us from the Investment Bank, he has made a major contribution to WSS with his extensive markets experience, effective management style and keen business insights,” said Koazk.

McKechnie is to report directly to Kozak. He was previously head of trading across all financing and markets products, reporting to O’Connor.
