Seth Michaels has been appointed managing director for Prime Brokerage Services at Maxim Group, an investment banking, securities and wealth management firm.
Michaels joins from Jones Trading Institutional Services, where he was head of Advisor Services. Previously he managed Barclays’ high-net-worth client financing business including margin, repo and securities lending and has worked at Neuberger Berman Clearing Services, which provided execution, reporting, custody and clearing services to correspondent broker dealers, registered investment advisors and hedge funds.
Michaels was appointed as part of an expansion initiative, announced by the Maxim Group last year, targeting key growth opportunities for the firm.
