RBC Investor Services has named Martin Anderson as head of Network Management.
Anderson becomes a member of the Global Operations Leadership Team and reports to Joanna Meager, global head, Client Operations and member of the Global Executive Committee for RBC Investor Services.
The role was previously combined with that of head of Client Solutions and was carried out by Tim Wood, before RBCs completion of a 50% stake in RBC Dexia from Dexia at the end of July. RBC Investor Services spokesman Adam Lister said Wood’s new role is head of Client Solutions, one that he has also held in conjunction for a while now, given the increasing focus of the business on client experience. “Martin’s appointment allows him to focus fully on client solutions and operational performance,” added Lister.
Anderson has been with RBC Investor Services since July 2007, where he was initially operations director with responsibilities for custody, fund accounting and shareholder services in Ireland and most recently director, Client Solutions for a number of European locations. He joined the company from Northern Trust where he spent 12 years in a number of senior positions including managing director of Barings Financial Services Group’s Irish subsidiary.
In his new role, Anderson will be responsible for managing all relationships with RBC Investor Services network of sub-custodian banks, prime brokers and other key bank providers around the world. Based in Dublin, Anderson will also be responsible for managing operations teams in London, Luxembourg, Toronto and Singapore.
Joanna Meager commented: We look forward to the contribution Martin will make to Network Management as he brings a strategic vision for meeting the challenges of our growing business and the changing operating environment of our clients.
