Markit has completed its acquisition of Cadis, the global enterprise data management specialist.
The Cadis business, which will be rebranded Markit Enterprise Data Management, will operate as a business unit alongside Markits other enterprise solutions including Markit Analytics, Markit Portfolio Management and Markit on Demand. It will continue to be run by Daniel Simpson, Cadis CEO, who will also join Markits executive management team.
The deal was announced at the beginning of May and follows Markits recent purchase of Data Explorers from mid-market private equity firm Bowmark Capital in April.
