Mark Tennant, the larger-than-life JP Morgan Investor Services SVP who has become synonymous with the bank’s efforts on the fund management side of the business, is to reduce his responsibilities in order to spend more time running his estate in Scotland. Tennant, who joined Chase full-time in 1992 after a career in the UK mutual fund industry, initially helped to set up the bank’s office in Scotland. He later served in New York, before moving to London, but always remained close to his Scottish roots and interests. Tennant will remain a consultant to JP Morgan Investor Services, reporting to Ramy Bourgi.
