The Bank of New York has hired Mark Snowdon from Clearstream Banking to be Head of Custody Sales within the European Investor Services division. He will be responsible for developing the global and domestic custody sales business for clients based in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He reports to Richard Beaven, Managing Director of European Investor Services.

At Clearstream, Snowdon’s final role was as Relationship Director and Senior Sales Manager responsible for Global Custodians and Universal Banks. Prior to his time at Clearstream Banking, he spent ten years at Barclays, in Global Securities Services, Corporate Banking and Risk Management.

“Mark has excellent credentials and an impressive track record in the securities servicing industry,” says Beaven. “He will be an important addition to the management team as we continue to grow our business across the region.”
