Maples Group has implemented SS&C Technologies’ flagship portfolio accounting system for its Irish-based alternative investment fund manager and UCITS subsidiary business.

MPMF Fund Management (Ireland) has adopted SS&C Advent’s Geneva platform to maintain its investment book of record (IBOR), as part of a series of technology enhancements.

In addition, the firm MPMF has implemented MSCI Risk Manager as a fund risk system to provide a wide range of portfolio risk analytics including investment restrictions monitoring, along with exposure, leverage and value at risk (VaR) reporting, as well as portfolio and liquidity stress testing.

The new systems infrastructure will support the delivery of MPMF’s solutions, fulfil current regulatory obligations under AIFMD and UCITS directive, and prepare for a set of new regulatory requirements including additional risk reporting.

“Across the Maples Group, we have a proven track record in designing and implementing data management portfolio accounting and portfolio analytics for investment managers and institutional investors,” said Tyler Kim, global head of fund services, Maples Group.

“We have now further enhanced and tailored our solutions in response to our clients’ evolving needs and to offer solutions that transcend typical management company deliverables and can supplement their in-house capabilities.”

Maples Group has recently implemented new technology solutions to enhance data management services across the alternatives investment space.

Last month, the firm announced it had integrated IHS Markit loan market data feeds in order to boost its offering for private debt and credit funds. It also went live on a new automated cash and positions reconciliations platform provided by Fund Recs.
