Maples Fund Services has hired Kit Pau as vice president in the firms Hong Kong office.
Maples says Paus hire follows increased market share of new launches in private equity and hedge funds, conversions from other service providers and organic growth from existing fund manager clients.
Pau assumes operational responsibility for the fund accounting and investor services teams in Hong Kong, adding to the dedicated client service team structure. Maples Fund Services provides services to private equity and hedge fund managers throughout the region.
Before joining Maples, Pau worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers Hong Kong, where he was a founding member of the private equity and real estate fund industry group. He received a fellowship from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
