Maples Finance, the fund administration arm of law firm Maples and Calder, has opened a Dublin fund administration operation.
Peter Huber, Maples Finance’s Dublin-based chief operations officer, will run the new service. It is regulated by the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority.
“The move to provide administration services in Dublin has been in response to client demand and the strong growth in the fund administration industry in the jurisdiction,” says Maxine Rawlins, CEO of Maples Finance told the Irish Funds Industry Association. “Maples Finance has highly qualified and experienced structured finance, asset finance and investment fund professionals with significant expertise in the financial services industry. The depths of experience of the Maples Finance Investment Funds teams ensure delivery of registrar and transfer agency, administration, fiduciary and reporting services on which global fund promoters, managers and investors can confidently rely.”
Maples says it expects demand for the service to come mainly from its European, Middle East and Asian clients.
