The newly formed, Los Angeles-based Sword Capital has selected Maples Fund Services for fund administration and Morgan Stanley for prime brokerage.
The investment manager launched the Sword Master Fund earlier this month that has a minimum investment of $2 million, according to U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings. Sword Capital is backed by Oakmont Partners and is managed by Husam Nazer, who previously served as a portfolio manager at DoubleLine.
In addition to Maples and Morgan Stanley, Sword also selected Ernst & Young as one of its service providers, to serve in the role of auditor.
