Ben Cook has been appointed as managing director at fund administrator Ipes UK and Andrew Whittaker will take up the position of managing director for Ipes Guernsey.
Whittaker will lead the 100-strong team in Guernsey, having previously headed up Ipes UK and its depositary business. He joined Ipes in January 2011 from Capita Financial Group’s Specialist Fund Services (formally Sinclair Henderson) where Whittaker was Managing Director.
Cook joins Ipes from Dominion Funds Group, where he was MD of the Asset Management business. He has experience of regulated entities in the UK, Guernsey, Malta and Switzerland through Directorships and in creating UCITS and Guernsey Protected Cell Company structures.
As managing director of Ipes UK, Cook will be responsible for delivering outsourced service solutions to the UK private equity community.

Established in Guernsey in 1998, Ipes now employs more than 150 people across London, Luxembourg, Jersey and Guernsey.
