Man Group has appointed Jonathan Nicholls to the Board of Directors of the Company as an independent non-executive Director. He will be a member of the Audit and Risk, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
Jonathan Nicholls joined Hanson PLC in 1996 as Group Treasurer. He was appointed to the position of Finance Director of Hanson in June 1998. He previously worked for Abbey National plc where he held several treasury and financial roles.

Jonathan Nicholls graduated from Manchester University in 1979. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, he joined PS Refson & Co (Merchant Bank) where he was Chief Accountant. He then joined Abbey National Building Society where he held several treasury and financial roles from 1985 to 1996. Jonathan joined Hanson PLC in 1996 as Group Treasurer. He was appointed to the position of Finance Director of Hanson in June 1998.
