Macgregor, the supplier of buy-side trade order management systems (OMS) and FIX network services, today announced that M&I Investment Management Corp. and Marshall & Ilsley Trust Company N.A. (M&I) have selected the Macgregor Financial Trading Platform(TM) (MFTP(TM)) to automate equity and fixed income trading. M&I selected the Portfolio Manager Workstation, Advanced Fixed Income, Compliance, and the Macgregor FIX Network (MFN) opponents, and will roll the system out to all users in six offices.
MFTP will be linked to M&I’s trust accounting system by a new interface to be developed through a joint effort between Macgregor and the trust accounting system provider, Metavante Corporation (Metavante). Metavante is the wholly owned financial technology subsidiary of Marshall & Ilsley Corporation, and a sister company to Marshall & Ilsley Trust Company. Upon completion of the project, joint clients of Metavante and Macgregor may use the interface.
