The Socite de la Bourse de Luxembourg (Luxembourg Stock Exchange) has joined the global membership of the International Capital Market Association (ICMA). ICMA is the self-regulatory organization and trade association representing constituents and practitioners in the international capital market worldwide.
“In the changing regulatory environment in which we are operating, it is vital that we are kept abreast of regulatory initiatives and their impact on the international market,” says Axel Forster, a member of the executive committee of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. “For us ICMA provides a link with international market participants and their concerns and is also a valuable source of information on regulatory developments in other European markets.”
