The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) has appointed Serge Harry as chairman of globeSettle, LSEG’s central securities depository (CSD) in Luxembourg.
He has also been appointed as the group’s country head for France, Benelux, and Germany, and will also become a member of LSEG’s executive committee. He will continue to serve as a member of the board of LCH Clearnet S.A.
In his role, Harry will work with the management of LSEG’s continental Europe businesses and drive post-trade collaboration across the group.
“His appointment demonstrates the importance the Group attaches to the development of our post-trade businesses and our relationships with stakeholders in continental Europe,” says Xavier Rolet, CEO of LSEG.
Most recently, he was a senior advisor to Rolet, and previously advised the group as an external consultant from 2011 to 2013.
