International IT Services company, LogicaCMG has appointed Amanda J. Mesler as chief executive of the North American region. She will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s growth strategy in the market.
In her 22-year career, Mesler has held senior positions at EDS, where she headed the global energy industry group; Bearing Point, where she was partner and managing director of the oil and gas practice; and General Electric, where she was Asia Pacific market manager. Most recently she was Vice President, Strategy and Organisation Design at SYSCO, North America’s largest food service marketer and distributor.

She has performed a variety of key functions over the years, including leadership, corporate strategy, business transformation and sales and marketing. She has also been successful in identifying and delivering IT services and solutions to a broad sector of clients, and she is particularly familiar with the energy industry.”

Mesler has implemented projects in the Middle East, Asia, Latin America and Europe as well as the United States. She holds a bachelor of science degree from Western Carolina University and a master of business administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She lives in Houston with her husband and three children.
