Lionhart Investments Ltd. (Lionhart), a global multi-strategy hedge fund, has appointed Tony Tresigne as a global trader with a European focus. He will be based in London, reporting to the CEO Terry Duffy, and will be responsible for increasing the value of the European book.
Tresigne joins Lionhart from Millennium Partners, where he spent four years as a portfolio manager for a global event driven fund. Initially, he began with Millennium Partners in New York, and was subsequently transferred to London to set up their UK office.
Prior to Millennium, Tresigne worked with the family office Inter IKEA, where he created a global event driven portfolio and operation. Prior to this, he was at Greenwich NatWest where he began his career. He joined Greenwich NatWest in 1989, in derivatives sales, eventually becoming an associate director on the proprietary trading desk, dealing with cash arbitrage and option volatility trading.
“Tony brings with him many years of trading experience and we feel that his skills will be essential to maintaining our philosophy of low risk and high return,” says Terry Duffy, the CEO of Lionhart. “We look forward to his contributions and to him becoming an important part of our team.”
“Lionhart represents an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established fund with a strong track record,” adds Tresigne “It is a company with solid expansion plans and a clear vision for the future. I am excited to be a part of, and contribute to, Lionhart’s continuing success.”
