Linedata Services has named Gavin Little-Gill executive vice president in charge of front-office services operations for the North America region.
Little-Gill will continue to handle product management and strategy for front-office products, but will now take on oversight for all client service activities.
The appointment comes amidst strong growth in North America, which has signed a record number of new clients for its OMS and its Linedata Compliance product. Linedata saw 200% growth in connections in its LyNX electronic trading network, over the last 12 months, and 100% growth in new ASP clients. Linedata also saw a threefold increase in demand for consulting services around LongView and LDC implementations, which drove a 300% increase in consulting services year-on-year, for the 12 months ending February 2008.
“Gavin has shown great skill in charting a direction for our product for the front-office. We are excited to have Gavin in a role where he can do even more for Linedata, helping to grow the firm and handle the rapidly increasing volume of new clients,” says Annie Morris, managing director, North America region, Linedata Services.
Little-Gill will not be alone in this effort: Linedata Services has bolstered staffing levels to complement growth, doubling teams in client support, LyNX support, ASP operations and PSG implementations. Linedata has also created a separate training group to ensure that clients and partners get the most out of the product.
“Companies that choose Linedata benefit from a holistic offering combining software and the services we wrap around that software. Continuing our recent success is dependent on not only building the right product features and functions, but seamlessly adding services and support around those products. In today’s market, these are equally important to clients,” says Little-Gill.
“These staff increases support our growth and these recent promotions support a culture of accountability and excellence. We have the right team, the right product, and, now, the leadership to deliver the leading front-to-back solution for the buy-side,” adds Morris.
