Linedata, which develops solutions for the investment management and credit industries, has released a new fund administration platform called Linedata Admin Edge. The platform incorporates fund accounting, investor administration, income allocations and Web reporting capabilities and is available as a fully hosted or in-house solution.
Linedata says it developed the fund administration platform in response to increased regulatory reporting requirements in the alternative investment market and growing demands from fund managers and investors.
Small- and medium-sized administrators are seeing an increased demand for services they are being asked to report on more aspects of the fund, more frequently, says Peter Muldoon, executive vice president at Linedata. We are offering a solution, Linedata Admin Edge, a single, comprehensive platform which can take care of all the administrators software requirements and assist in providing excellent service while keeping their costs and vendor management time under control.
Muldoon says three clients have already signed up for the platform.
