Bank of America has chosen Lewis Warran as its new deputy head of its global investment business, the bank announced Thursday.

Lewis, who formerly worked for Citigroup as head of its business development for global transaction services division, will help to oversee Bank of America’s effort to expand its investment activities worldwide.

Lewis will work as part of the bank’s Banc of Securities division, and the move follows an estimated $675 million move by Bank of America to expand its investment banking operations.
