Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. has hired Lewis M Eisenberg, co-founder and co-chairman of investment management company Granite Capital International Group, as a senior advisor.Eisenberg spent nearly 25 years at Goldman Sachs where he was general partner and co-head of the equity division. In addition to co-founding Granite Capital International Group, he co-founded Granum Communications where he also served on the board. Until 2007, he also served on the board of ITC, an independent electric transmission business and a former KKR portfolio company.

Bringing him in to this role is part of an enhanced effort to focus on and strengthen our relationships with our investment partners,” says Henry R Kravis and George Roberts, co-founders of KKR. “In addition to the financial and investment expertise he brings to KKR, his experience with infrastructure management, development and public planning will be a strong asset to our infrastructure team. KKR recently brought former Goldman Sachs executive Suzanne Donohoe into its Global Capital and Asset Management Group as managing director. She is also global head of the Client and Partner Group.
