LDC London appoints Daniel Sasaki, co-founder of Hemisphere Capital, as director to promote media, IT, telecoms and other business services companies operating in and around London.

The London office of Lloyds TSB Development Capital, the private equity arm of the Lloyds TSB Group, invests in various sectors, with particular experience in support services, outsourcing and business services. This includes financial and information services, IT, software and telecom services and leisure, media, retail and consumer services organisations.

Daniel Sasaki was chosen for his wide experience in media and technology investments. Sasaki worked as investment director of the private equity division of Credit Suisse First Boston, specialised as a managing partner at Hemisphere.

Despite the current market turmoil, LDC has ambitious plans to take advantage of re-priced opportunities as they arise in our local to London sectors, says Peter Brooks, managing director, LDC, London. To deliver this it is important that we are able to attract people of Daniel’s calibre into our team.
