LCH.Clearnet Appoints New Global Head of Sales

LCH.Clearnet Group (LCH.Clearnet) has appointed Ali Hackett to the newly created role of global head of sales and relationship management, which will run across asset classes.

LCH.Clearnet Group (LCH.Clearnet) has appointed Ali Hackett to the newly created role of global head of sales and relationship management, which will run across asset classes.

Ms. Hackett, who has gained over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, will be responsible for maximising the reach, range and value of LCH.Clearnet’s existing client relationships. She will also be in charge of developing new member and client business opportunities, and shall report to Suneel Bakhshi, CEO.

The position will be based in New York, and Ms. Hackett will also serve as a member of LCH.Clearnet’s Executive Committee. She most recently served as an industry advisor for Formation 8, where she helped portfolio companies to develop successful client partnerships.

Ms. Hackett has also acted as senior managing director, global client development and sales at CME Group. Within this role, she led the company’s global sales force and handled the development and execution of CME’s sales strategy across all asset classes. Hackett spent almost 20 years at Citi, and initially started working as a trader for Prudential Bache Securities.

“She will be integral to ensuring that we maintain a harmonised approach in our relationships with customers as we continue to grow our business,” says Bakhshi.
