Dutch custodian KAS Bank is reorganising its London branch. From 1 January 2007 the general management of the branch will fall under a new Managing Director – Laurens Vis. Vis will report to Hans Kadiks, who is responsible for marketing, sales and relationship management on the Managing Board of the bank.
“With this reorganisation of our organisational structure, KAS Bank will further increase her commercial and operational strength in the ,” says Kadiks.” By putting the UK Branch under a one-headed direction and with a direct responsibility to the Managing Board, KAS Bank emphasises the importance of the British market for her specialist securities and investor services to institutional investors and financial institutions.”

Under Vis, sales and relationship management will operate as separate teams. Peter Rouwen will be a Team Leader, UK Financial Institutions, while Vis himself will double as Team Leader, UK Institutional Investors. Recent appointments to his team include Marga Wenting and Petra Olssonas as Relationship Managers, and Andrew Caird as Sales Manager.
A UK Client Support Team will be responsible for UK operational functions, and especially for UK reconciliation activities and the management of connections to the central UK market systems, including London Stock Exchange, LCH.Clearnet and CREST Camiel Janmaat will be Team Leader UK Client Support.
