LaCrosse Global Fund Services has been selected to provide fund administration, middle office, operations and collateral management services to Tahan Capital Management and its TCM Asia Opportunities Fund.
Tahan plans to launch an Asian-focused hedge fund that trades and invests in Asian high yield/distressed securities, credit long/short, and macro strategies.
Tahans new fund will trade and invest across the credit spectrum from sovereign debts to bank capitals and corporate debts, including high yield and distressed securities. It will take long and short positions via various instruments, including securities, currencies, interest rates, and derivatives.
The Tahan Capital team is led by Ng Yong Ngee and includes Chia Tse Ern (formerly with GLG and Jabre Capital), Bryan Choo (formerly with Schroders and UBS), Charles Ooi (formerly with HSBC and UBS) and Joseph Lam (formerly with Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley). The combined depth and breadth of the teams experience spans multiple market cycles and positions the firm well to capitalize on opportunities across the credit and macro space.
“We are proud to be appointed as a full-service provider of Tahan Capitals new fund. The LaCrosse platform is well suited to support its range and complexity, and we are dedicated to working with the team as it expands, said Celia Choh, LaCrosses regional head of Asia.
