Kevin Milne, the former London Stock Exchange, Thomson ESG, Macgregor and SS&C sales executive, is to succeed Roy Lambert as managing director of the ICMA Limited, the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) subsidiary that runs its technology products and services.

Milne, who joins ICMA on 19 February2007, will be a member of ICMA’s Executive Committee. The post of Managing Director of ICMA Ltd was previously held for over 20 years by Royston Lambert, who retired in January.

Milne has spent over 20 years in financial markets technology, having joined the London Stock Exchange, where he held various business development and management roles, at the time of Big Bang in October 1986.

He then went on to the Electronic Settlements Group (ESG)at Thomson Financial and led that business in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia until the merger with the DTCC that created the Omgeo joint venture. He stayed at Omgeo as Executive Managing Director-International until 2003.

He has since had spells at OMS vendor Macgregor and SS&C.

ICMA Limited’s products and services include TRAX, the trade matching and transaction reporting system for bonds, repose, derivatives and equities it has operated since 1989.

ICM Limited also offers regulatory reporting facilities across all asset classes, which are designed to meet the requirements of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID).

TRAX has over 200 international subscribers. TRAX and its latest version TRAX2processed53 million trades during 2006, an increase of 54% on the figure for 2005.
