Kentucky Retirement Systems (KRS) has issued an RFP for global custody and related services.
The defined benefits plan, which has approximately $13.7 billion in assets, administers three separate retirement plans for various state and local government employees in Kentucky: KERS for hazardous and nonhazardous employees of the Commonwealth; CERS for hazardous and non-hazardous employees of approximately 1,000 city and county government agencies; and SPRS for all uniformed Kentucky State Troopers. As of June 30, 2012, KRS served a combined total of over 337,000 active, inactive, and retired members in the three combined systems.
KRS is seeking custodial services, recordkeeping / accounting services, performance measurement /analytics, support for an unbundled securities lending program and other services to KRS as defined in this RFP.
Non-binding intents to respond are due by Sept. 11, 2012. The deadline for submissions is Sept. 28 2012.
