Cerberus Capital Management, the private investment firm, says that Kenneth H.M. Leet has joined Cerberus European Capital Advisors, LLP as President. Leet brings to Cerberus more than 20 years of high-level business, investment and finance experience, including over 18 years at Goldman Sachs, key oversight roles at Bank of America’s international operations, and as Special Advisor to the Ford Motor Company.

“We are delighted to welcome Ken Leet to the Cerberus Group. Ken and I have worked together for many years,” says John W. Snow, the Chairman of Cerberus Capital. “His extensive knowledge and experience in international markets make him a perfect fit to lead our European efforts.”

During his tenure at Goldman Sachs, Leet was a Partner in the Investment Banking Division. He served as a member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Department and also held roles in leveraged finance and principal investing.

Leet holds a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Brown University. He is a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and is involved with a number of philanthropic organisations, including the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Old Vic Theatre Trust.
