Fund administrator Kaufman Rossin Fund Services (KRFS) has moved and expanded its San Francisco office to 235 Pine Street in the Financial District. The San Francisco office, initially opened in September 2010, services hedge funds, private equity funds and family offices in the West Coast.

“We have been extremely pleased to see the demand for the quality of service and experience we offer, says Keith Sharkey, co-founder and director of KRFS. This move and our recent hires allow us to stay ahead of the fast paced growth of the alternative investment industry throughout California, Washington, and Oregon.

The office expansion follows the opening of a KRFS office in Dallas, Texas, last week.

KRFS says its regional modelthe firm also has offices in Miami, Boston, New York and Grand Caymanbucks the trend among outsourcing providers by establishing a presence on the ground near clients.

Being closer to our clients facilitates more personal interaction, which in turn allows our clients to tap into the wealth of knowledge and expertise maintained by our service professionals, Sharkey says.
