Kaufman Rossin Fund Services (KRFS) has appointed Mike Kennedy to lead the expansion of its San Francisco office.
KRFS has had a West Coast presence since 2010 and opened a new San Francisco office earlier this year servicing hedge funds, private equity funds and family offices.
Kennedy previously worked in prime brokerage at Cantor Fitzgerald, RBC Capital Markets and Morgan Stanley. At KRFS, he will be responsible for overseeing the fund accounting, investor servicing, tax compliance and technical service staff on the West Coast. He will also contribute to business development efforts.
This is a very exciting time in our firm, says Keith Sharkey, co-founder and director of KRFS. The industry continues to demand increased services and integrated solutions from fund administrators, and KRFS continues to set the pace. Mikes extensive experience compliments our distinctive approach of exceeding our clients expectations. We are delighted to welcome this talented new member to our senior management team.
KRFS also opened an office in Dallas, Texas this year, headed by James Davis, former senior vice president of the Prime Brokerage division of Jefferies. In addition to Dallas and San Francisco, the firm has offices in New York, Boston, Cayman and Miami.
