Northern Trust has appointed Justin Chapman and Iain Scott as Senior Vice Presidents within its Worldwide Operations Team. Based in London, they report directly to Sheryl Muniz, Senior Vice President, Global Securities Processing.
Justin Chapman, takes on the role of process manager for trade settlement and entitlements focusing on risk and control processes as well as operational re-engineering and change management. He will also represent Northern Trust and the custodian community on the Industry Standardization for Institutional Trade Communication (ISITC) Executive Committee. He joins Northern Trust from Mondas where he was Head of Industry Marketing. With 16 years industry experience, Chapman has held senior positions at Broker Focus, Andersen Consulting, JP Morgan Chase, BZW and Barclays Stockbrokers.
Iain Scott is responsible for the strategic review and development of operational processes focusing on key areas such as the servicing of alternative investments. He joins Northern Trust from JP Morgan Chase, where he spent four years as Head of Operations in the Institutional Trust Division. With 20 years industry experience, Scott has held senior positions at Bankers Trust, Salomon Smith Barney, Citibank and JP Morgan Chase.
