OneChicago says that 202,384 security futures contracts traded at the Exchange in June. Volume surpassed the one-million contract mark in June reaching 1,017,346 contracts traded year-to-date, a 48% increase over the 686,019 contracts traded in the first half of 2003. Open interest stood at 110,240 contracts June 30.

The top five security futures products by volume in June were: Comcast Corp. (CMCS1C) McDonald’s Corp. (MCD1C) Dupont (E.I. Du Pont de Nemours) (DD1C) General Electric Co. (GE1C) Pfizer (PFE1C) The Exchange has a total of 118 products: 103 single stock futures, including futures on the DIAMONDS Trust, and 15 futures on the Dow Jones MicroSector IndexesSM.

OneChicago is a joint venture of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) and the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT).
