Following similar moves by other banks, JPMorgan will close its proprietary trading desk, The Financial Times reports.
“I think a lot of people are taking a step back and looking at their risk matrices from top to bottom, and working out whether they have good risk models in place,” a senior official at a US brokerage house based in London told The Financial Times.
