JPMorgan announced today that it hired Heather Schreider as a vice president in its transition management business for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Transition management assists institutional investors in the restructuring and implementation of their investment portfolios from strategy development through to execution and performance review.

Schreider joins from Barclays Global Investors after six years of experience as an index fund manager. Schreider will be based in London and report to John Minderides, head of the transition management group at JPMorgan.

Also joining the team as a sales and marketing manager for the transition management group is Rob Calder. Calder has been with JPMorgan for 10 years, the last five of which were spent as a relationship manager within JPMorgan Investor Services, the firm’s global custody business. He will sell transition management services to Investor Services clients in EMEA.

“I am pleased to have Heather and Rob joining our group,” Minderides said. “Their breadth of experience will significantly add to our continued expansion across EMEA, particularly at a time when we are seeing an increased demand for transition management services.”
