JPMorgan Treasury Services has successfully completed testing of SWIFT’s SCORE service, which gives corporates access to SWIFT’s SWIFTNet messaging system, with two clients, Microsoft and GE. The testing demonstrated that both messages (FIN) and files (FileAct) were able to be exchanged between corporates and banks. The new Standardised Corporate Environment (SCORE) service has been developed to make it easier and more attractive for corporates to access SWIFT and enjoy secure and reliable communications with all of their banking partners.

“Our new SCORE service better enables corporates to leverage SWIFT to communicate with their banks,” says Luc Meurant, the head of Corporate Access Program at SWIFT. “Access is easier and it offers higher levels of standardisation.”

“We see significant benefits from being able to access all of our banks via a single communications channel,” adds Ed Barrie, a Group Manager at Microsoft Treasury. “We are already connected to some of our banks via SWIFT but this new service will make it easier for us to further leverage the investment we have made in SWIFT connectivity.”
