JP Morgan is sponsoring an ADR programme for Allied Telesis Holdings, aglobal network and technology group that delivers secure IP/Ethernet systems. Each Allied Telesis ADR (CUSIP 019560 10 1) represents 5 ordinary shares traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange 2nd Section.

Allied Telesis CEO Takayoshi Oshima noted that the timing was right and that the group was ideally positioned to make the big step to achieve its aim of becoming a truly global networking company, capitalizing on the spread of IP Triple Play Solution which originated in Wisconsin.

“We partnered with JPMorgan to launch the ADR programme in order to to enhance the visibility and understanding of our company while delivering the message to broader investors in the U.S. where IP Triple Play is well developed and accepted,” Oshima says.

Patrick Colle, Global Client Management Executive for DR Services at JPMorgan, says the appointment to act as depositary of Allied Telesis’s ADR programme reaffirmed JPMorgan’s position as the leading ADR franchise in Japan.
