JPMorgan Investor Services today announced the launch of a mysteriously named “breach register capability.”

This is a compliance tool, delivered via the client-only Web site, which notifies fund managers, pension managers, insurance companies and central banks when their compliance rules are breached. It also enables institutional investors to manage and document the resolution process for compliance events arising on their investment portfolios. The breach register allows users to define workflow and breach record content for analysis and resolution; enable real-time access to compliance reports and breach records; and build and store customised management reports.

“The integrated approach to breach identification and resolution, together with the platform’s ability to support multiple valuation systems, including JPMorgan’s own accounting platform and third party administered systems, enables our clients to adopt a single compliance process across their entire firm,” says Rajesh Kumar, Vice President and EMEA Compliance Reporting Services Product Manager.
