Mellon Global Investments has appointed Jonathan Lubran as Director of UK Institutional Sales. Lubran, who joined in December 2003, will report to Jon Little, Chief Executive of Mellon Global Investments.
At Mellon Global Investments he will focus on developing business relationships with pension funds, corporate and government entities.
Lubran joins Mellon Global Investments from Schroder Investment Management where he was Executive Director and he brings a wealth of experience to the Mellon Institutional team. At Schroders he was responsible for a team who managed relationships for 800 clients.
Prior to joining Schroders, Lubran held positions as Managing Director, Institutional, at Foreign & Colonial Management Ltd, (1994 – 2000), CEO of Bankers Trust Investment Management (1988 – 1994) and Managing Director of RBC Investment Management (1980 – 1988). Lubran is a graduate of the University of Chicago with a B.A. (Hons) in Physics, and the University of Cambridge with a Ph.D. in Computer Science.
